Stonehenge on an overcast summer day. The
structure was constructed from 3050 BC to 1500 BC, beginning with a
large, circular ditch and bank (or henge). A wooden structure
was later constructed at the center, only to be later replaced by
the current stone structure (which itself was arranged and
re-arranged over a thousand-year period).
