A
colorful, large bird, the cattle egret grows up to 17 inches in
height with a wingspan of up to 37 inches. These egrets are
talking to their young (not pictured), as they prepare to fly down
to the nest. This
picture was taken in a swampy area in Douglas, Georgia.
